Neural News & Networks
How easy is it to manipulate information (for example News) nowadays with the help of artificial intelligence? To what extent is a picture a credible source of the truth? How can we trust pictures, if there is an option to manipulate them?
Neural News and Networks is a News App for non realistic-media content, including pictures generated with the help of Artbreeder. Artbreeder is an AI (artificial intelligence) platform for pictures which are generated through neural networks. The pictures are manipulated and do not excist. All associated headlines and their stories are written by me and are not truthful. All News are based on the topic of Covid-19 and are underlined by satire.
Neural News and Networks is not a reliable source of credible information, much more it‘s about the progress of technique and the more upcomming use of manipulated information when it comes to social media and other social networks. In times like these, where alot of information is spread, people tend to believe what they hear or see and perceive it as the truth. Especially if they have proove of a picture with it.
Disinformation or so called Fake News is content that is intetionally manipulated and spread to confuse or irritate people. They are often used for destructive intentions. Where believable misleading information could lead to political arguments. I want to emphasize that the content of Neural News & Networks is used in an exaggerated way to make sure the reader is aware of the sense of humour in it. There is no destructive intention or any kind of political opinion behind Neural News & Networks.
